My Story

My lifting journey began in middle school when I first stepped into the weight room for football. I had already been playing for eight years, but at thirteen I was a chubby kid struggling with my self-image. Walking into a gym full of older, stronger athletes was intimidating, and at first it made my confidence sink even lower. But even in that overwhelming environment, I found something that would change my life — I fell in love with lifting.

While I made great friends through football, the truth is that the field was never where I thrived. I enjoyed the weight room far more than practices or games. Where most players trained to improve their performance on the field, I was driven simply by the desire to lift. Even after I stopped playing, I kept showing up. Sometimes I was the only one left in the school gym, staying so late the coach would leave me with the keys and ask me to lock up on my way out. Football had introduced me to lifting, but it was in the weight room that my passion truly took off.

In college, my consistency wavered as classes, work, and other commitments competed for my attention, but no matter what, I always found my way back to the gym. After finishing school, I realized the career path I had studied for wasn’t where my heart was, and in 2022 I made a decision: I would pursue personal training and do whatever it took to make it work.

Fast forward to today, and I couldn’t be more committed to my career. Coaching is not just my job — it’s my calling. I love what I do, and I give everything I have to ensure that every client receives the accountability, motivation, and guidance they need to transform their lives. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with hundreds of clients, from student athletes striving to improve their game to older adults focused on mobility, strength, and quality of life.

I’ve experienced the lows of self-doubt, body dysmorphia, and the struggle to stay motivated. But I used the gym and the knowledge I’ve gained to completely change my life, and now my mission is to help others do the same. Fitness gave me strength, confidence, and purpose — and I’m here to guide others on their own journey toward becoming the best version of themselves.
